About This Program

The PhD in Education in Science and Technology at the Technion prepares doctoral candidates to lead research in STEM education, curriculum development, and educational technology. The program sits at the intersection of engineering expertise and pedagogical innovation, producing graduates who influence science education policy and practice in Israel and globally.

Entry Requirements

Candidates with a master’s degree who studied at an accredited academic institution in Israel or abroad, with a GPA and thesis paper grade 80 or above, may apply. Each department has the right to determine specific requirements. Information is available on their websites. PhD candidates are required to find an advisor before applying and submit two recommendations letters- one from the Master’s degree advisor.
