Where does Israel
fit in your future?
The Future is Calling is a series of programs from the Tzemach David Educational Foundation built around that one question. Through personalized guidance, exclusive partnerships with Israel's leading universities, and support at every stage of a student's education, we help Jewish students and their families turn it into a clear, confident path toward academic excellence and a meaningful future in Israel.

Everyone has a different pathway for what it looks like to be here. We try to meet people where they are, and give them the resources and the support they need.

The Tzemach David Educational Foundation
The Future Is Calling is built around an integrated approach to Israel education and higher education that begins well before a student is applying to college. Our work with students begins as early as 10th grade through our Nelech program, which integrates North American students into Israeli high schools. This gives us several years of experience understanding the challenges and opportunities students encounter as they begin engaging with Israel educationally and socially long before the college decision-making process begins. By the time students are considering Israeli universities, we have a much deeper understanding of what they and their families actually need in order to make the experience successful.
Tzemach David works with many seminaries and yeshivot, sponsoring Ulpan programs to lessen the language barrier for those students who wish to better integrate into Israeli society. Our work with army and sherut leumi representatives including organizations that guide lone soldiers and bnot sherut, helps us accompany students through all stages of their journey.
That same integrated approach extends to our university partnerships. In addition to bringing American guidance counselors to Israel through the Tzemach David program, which we have been doing for the past three years, we work directly with Israeli colleges and universities and provide grants to help them develop and expand programs specifically designed to support North American students, including hybrid programs and other initiatives that make it easier for American students to study successfully in Israel.

Why families trust us
Four things we BRING TO EVERY STUDENT
AND EVERY FAMILY WE GUIDE
We bring the best of experience to every question a student or family cannot answer alone... without overpromising.
01
Experience
Decades of work inside Israeli higher education. We have made the introductions and walked the applications before.
02
Expertise
We know how the Israeli system behaves: the timelines, the entry routes, the language pathways, and where families reliably get stuck.
03
University relationships
We work directly with the partner universities rather than around them. That is how the answers stay current and the introductions stay real.
04
Direct funding
The Foundation funds programs at the universities themselves. We improve the path, not only explain it.

The Future is Calling
Which Israeli option is right for me, and how do I navigate the process?
We do not represent one university or one program. We help students and their families understand the broader landscape and how the pieces fit together: which universities and programs are a good fit, the differences between cities and campuses, English and hybrid English/Hebrew programs, housing, costs, Jewish life, the application process, and what the transition from high school or a gap year actually looks like.
Holistic and continuous.
We guide students across the whole journey, from ninth grade onward, rather than helping with one step and disappearing. A family can arrive at any stage and stay through the next one.
A genuinely Israeli experience.
We help students actually integrate, which opens the internships, the research, and the relationships that an insulated bubble closes off. Belonging is the point, not proximity.
Real partnerships with the universities.
We fund and work directly with Israel's leading universities to open new programs and smooth the path. We improve the system rather than only navigating it.
Personalized, expert guidance.
Individual consultation that meets each family where they are, and that takes the emotional questions as seriously as the practical ones.
