Our Mission
The Tzemach David Foundation goal is to open new doors in education and opportunities in Israel. Our entry point has been supporting olim—helping families integrate and thrive in Israel’s schools. Today, that mission has taken on a new focus: helping students and families see Israel itself as a first-choice destination for higher education. This campaign is at the heart of that work—bringing together parents, students, and universities to imagine a future where Israel is not only the homeland, but a place of world-class learning, belonging, and growth. Choosing Israel opens doors that last a lifetime—opportunities for networking, professional development, and friendships that root studentsn both in the Israeli and global community.

The Challenge

The Challenge
For the last few years, Tzemach David has worked to strengthen Israel’s K–12 system—supporting principals, training educators, and sparking innovation in schools. We’ve seen how much is possible when students are given the right tools at the right stage of their journey.
Yet when it comes to higher education, too many families abroad are left in the dark. We are at an inflection point for Israeli higher education. Interest in studying in Israel is higher than ever, but families abroad still face informational, emotional, and practical gaps that make it hard to imagine taking this step. Parents don’t know what studying in Israel looks like, how to navigate admissions, or how their child will be supported far from home. Students often feel curious but overwhelmed, unsure whether they’ll find both academic excellence and a community that feels like home.
On the other side, Israeli universities are eager for international students but often lack the infrastructure to meet their needs. Without bridging these gaps, students miss opportunities, universities miss talent, and Israel misses a chance to strengthen its global future.

The Solution
That’s why we launched this campaign. The Future Is Calling is a calling Tzemach David needed to take—building on our success in K–12 to expand into higher education. Our work has always been holistic: we strengthen leaders, empower educators, and support families so that students can thrive at every stage. Just as we’ve invested in principals, teachers, and innovative schools, we are now investing in students and universities at the next level. Our holistic approach addresses the gaps students and families face. Just as we’ve invested in principals, teachers, and innovative schools, we are now investing in students and universities at the next level.
We provide parents and students with clear, reliable information to navigate the system. We create transitional programs that help students adapt academically, socially, and emotionally—so they can thrive from their first year.. We work hand-in-hand with universities to strengthen their ability to welcome and support international students. And we mobilize funders, influencers, and policymakers to invest in values-driven higher education that meets global standards while staying rooted in Israel’s purpose.
By coming to Israel earlier, students don’t just earn a degree—they join a network of peers, mentors, and opportunities that will carry them forward for life. Through this campaign, families gain peace of mind, students step into their futures with confidence, and Israeli universities gain a generation of leaders with deep ties to Israel. Together, we are not only building pathways for higher education—we are extending the work we began with olim and K–12, shaping an educational journey that connects students to Israel, to community, and to a brighter future.
