About This Program

Doctoral research in Biotechnology & Food Engineering at the Technion spans food science, bioprocess engineering, fermentation technology, and nutritional science. Entry Requirements

Candidates with a master’s degree who studied at an accredited academic institution in Israel or abroad, with a GPA and thesis paper grade 80 or above, may apply. Each department has the right to determine specific requirements. Information is available on their websites. PhD candidates are required to find an advisor before applying and submit two recommendations letters- one from the Master’s degree advisor.
