About This Program

Doctoral candidates in Biology at the Technion conduct cutting-edge research in molecular biology, genetics, neuroscience, and structural biology. The program provides access to advanced imaging facilities, genomics platforms, and interdisciplinary collaboration with the Technion's biomedical engineering and chemistry departments. Graduates contribute to academic research, biotechnology startups, and Israel's world-leading life sciences industry.

Entry Requirements

Candidates with a master’s degree who studied at an accredited academic institution in Israel or abroad, with a GPA and thesis paper grade 80 or above, may apply. Each department has the right to determine specific requirements. Information is available on their websites. PhD candidates are required to find an advisor before applying and submit two recommendations letters- one from the Master’s degree advisor.
