About This Program

The PhD in Aerospace Engineering at the Technion places doctoral candidates at the heart of Israel's aerospace and defense innovation ecosystem. Research areas include aerodynamics, propulsion, satellite systems, autonomous flight, and structural mechanics. The program has produced leaders in Israel's space program, defense industry, and academic aerospace research worldwide.

Entry Requirements

Candidates with a master’s degree who studied at an accredited academic institution in Israel or abroad, with a GPA and thesis paper grade 80 or above, may apply. Each department has the right to determine specific requirements. Information is available on their websites. PhD candidates are required to find an advisor before applying and submit two recommendations letters- one from the Master’s degree advisor.
